Job Summary

Looking for an experienced Electrical Head to lead the electrical engineering function of a major fertilizer project. The candidate should have 25–30 years of experience in FEED, detailed engineering, project execution, and commissioning for large-scale industrial projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage teams through all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering scope from concept to commissioning.
• Review and oversee FEED, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Manage detailed engineering activities with internal teams and EPC consultants.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical documents including SLDs, load lists, power system studies, and design drawings.
• Evaluate and select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and UPS systems.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, IS, and other relevant codes.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, and Process teams for system integration.
• Support procurement with technical bid evaluations, FATs, and vendor inspections.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Participate in HAZOPs, model reviews, and safety assessments.
• Ensure cost control, schedule adherence, and quality compliance.
• Mentor and guide electrical engineers to build team capability.
