This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator in India.

We are seeking a skilled GSOC Operator to monitor and respond to physical security and safety events across a global organization. In this role, you will maintain situational awareness over internal and external incidents, provide first-response support, and ensure the safety of employees, assets, and operations. You will utilize advanced monitoring technologies, collaborate with local and global security teams, and communicate timely updates during emergencies. The role is ideal for individuals who excel in high-pressure situations, have strong critical thinking skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with global impact.

Accountabilities

  • Monitor physical security systems, surveillance assets, and open-source intelligence tools to detect unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or security incidents.
  • Support access control, visitor management, and travel safety processes for employees and contractors.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for security incidents, assessing and triaging events to determine operational impact.
  • Dispatch and coordinate response with security and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, providing situational awareness and guidance during incidents.
  • Document incidents in real-time and participate in post-incident reviews to improve response procedures.
  • Contribute to operational excellence by maintaining standard operating procedures and supporting initiatives to enhance GSOC capabilities.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a GSOC or equivalent security operations environment.
  • Hands-on experience with physical safety and security technology, including ACS, IDS, VSS, VMS, travel safety, and mass notification tools.
  • Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) research tools.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Proven ability to follow standard operating procedures and playbooks.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under stress.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overlapping global hours.
  • Desired : Customer service mindset, proficiency with Google Suite, additional language skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
