DevOps Engineer

Job descriptionA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in Linux System Administration of a datacenter environment managing systems, network, security, cloud operations and storage system. Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud. Valid professional level AWS Solution Architect / DevOps / Sysops certifications. Hands on experience in Bash, Python or Perl Scripts. Hands on experience on GIT based CI / CD integration and maintenance. Proficiency in any configuration management tools (terraform, ansible, puppet or chef). Hands on experience in managing production setups in a public cloud environment. Hands on experience in optimised Dockerisation. Worked on designing and implementing cloud solution on AWS as per Well Architect Framework. Strong experience on network, routing, switching and network tools. Experience in performing the installation and high performance configuration of : Apache / Nginx, PHP based CMS / content management system, PHP-FPM, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Working experience on Kubernetes / Container Orchestration technologies.
Objective :
As a DevOps Engineer, you get to deploy, automate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly. You get to diagnose and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability and accountable for planning updates and maintenance of deployment platforms.
As a DevOps Engineer at Rage, you’ll get to :
- Work with diverse teams to create and implement various development, testing, automation tools and IT infrastructure.
- Manage stakeholders and external interfaces.
- Analyse the technology being used and develop plans and processes for improvement and expansion.
- Set up tools and required infrastructure to develop, code, build, install, configure and maintain IT solutions.
- Troubleshoot techniques and fix the server configuration bugs.
- Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimising wastage.
- Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
