Salary: Up to ₹70,000 per month (Depending on Experience & Last Drawn Salary)

A reputed IB School in Powai, Mumbai is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Lab Assistant (Chemistry) to support the Science Department in conducting practical sessions and maintaining laboratory operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Chemistry and hands-on laboratory experience, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical sessions.
  
• Assist teachers and students during laboratory experiments.
  
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety standards, and inventory.
  
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals.
  
• Maintain records of laboratory equipment and consumables.
  
• Coordinate maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
  
• Assist during practical examinations, projects, and science exhibitions.
  

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or related Science discipline.
  
• 2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  
• Prior experience in a school laboratory will be preferred.
  
• Good knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling.
