Role Description

This is a full / part-time remote role for an IB DP and CIE Chemistry (IG / A Levels) Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective online chemistry lessons, providing academic support, assisting with exam preparation, and developing learning materials tailored to individual student needs. The role also includes assessing student progress and collaborating with students to set academic goals and strategies for improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in IB DP Chemistry and CIE Chemistry (IG / A Levels)
• Proficient in creating engaging learning materials and adapting teaching strategies to individual student needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students
• Proven ability to conduct effective virtual classes using online teaching tools
• Experience in tutoring or teaching Chemistry to high school students, especially in IB and CIE curricula
• Commitment to helping students achieve academic success and confidence
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Education, or a related field
• Familiarity with college preparation processes and exam strategies is a plus
