Role : Dynamics 365 Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) Techno-Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in both functional consulting (implementation, configuration, and solution design) and technical expertise (customization, development, and integrations). This role will work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design effective ERP solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations that combine strong functional knowledge with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Responsibilities :

  • Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and processes.
  • Configure and support D365 BC modules including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Manufacturing.
  • Lead full-cycle ERP implementations : analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft's roadmap and leverage best practices for solution design.

Technical Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and customize D365 BC / NAV solutions using AL, C / AL, and extensions.
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications and external systems (APIs, web services).
  • Develop and maintain reports, BI dashboards, and data migration scripts.
  • Ensure code quality, performance tuning, and adherence to security standards.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support system upgrades, version migrations, and deployment of new releases.

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of D365 BC / NAV functional modules : Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Projects.
  • Proficiency in AL, C / AL, C / SIDE development and extensions.
  • Experience integrating D365 BC with external business applications (APIs, web services).
  • Good understanding of relational databases (SQL Server) and data migration approaches.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, or version control tools is a plus.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1- 4 years of experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV implementations in both -functional and technical roles.
  • Proven track record in ERP implementation, customization, and integration projects.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC / NAV certifications (preferred).
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience is a strong advantage.
