Job Description : Application Analyst Marketing Cloud (Primary) / Health Cloud (PTS-078)
Summary :
The Application Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise Information Systems applications. This role requires the ability to gather, interpret, and utilize complex data while delivering robust solutions that support clinical, fiscal, business, and IS functions. The analyst will be responsible for system design, build, documentation, and overall support, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the primary application and Salesforce Health Cloud as a secondary area of exposure. The position also demands cross-functional collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining stable, efficient, and secure system environments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Application Management : Oversee day-to-day operations of non-clinical applications, including design, build, test, and maintenance of solutions ranging from routine service requests to large-scale project implementations.
- Technical Support : Assist with system troubleshooting, enhancements, upgrades, and periodic software updates while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Testing & Validation : Participate in end-to-end system testing and validation efforts, develop and maintain testing protocols, and coordinate with stakeholders and end users to ensure accuracy, usability, and compliance.
- Collaboration : Coordinate departmental and interdepartmental tasks, supporting cross-functional teams to align technology with business needs and ensure seamless adoption of applications.
- System Reliability : Contribute to a multidisciplinary environment by ensuring the stability, reliability, and functionality of software applications through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
- Documentation & Compliance : Develop, update, and maintain system documentation, workflow diagrams, and process guides, while strictly adhering to established change management procedures and governance standards.
- On-Call Support : Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely off-hours response to critical incidents and ensuring continuity of operations.
- Continuous Learning : Actively maintain ongoing professional development and cross-training across multiple departmental areas, ensuring adaptability and readiness for new applications or evolving business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in IT, with at least 3+ years specifically as an IS / Application Analyst.Primary Expertise : Salesforce Marketing Cloud hands-on knowledge in campaign management, automation, data integration, and reporting.Secondary Exposure : Salesforce Health Cloud familiarity with patient engagement, care coordination, and healthcare workflows is preferred.Analytical Strengths : Demonstrated ability to analyze complex workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into technical solutions.Business Acumen : Strong understanding of operational workflows supported by IS applications, particularly in healthcare and non-clinical domains.Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Adaptability : Strong capacity to learn new applications quickly and adapt to shifting project requirements or assignments.Problem-Solving : Proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving application issues, with critical thinking and decision-making skills.(ref : hirist.tech)
