Job Description

As an AutoCAD Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining customized AutoCAD applications to streamline drafting and design workflows. The role involves building WinForm applications, console applications, and class libraries to enhance the AutoCAD user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and customize AutoCAD plugins and applications using AutoLISP, .NET, and ObjectARX.
2. Design and implement WinForm applications with intuitive interfaces for AutoCAD tools.
3. Build console applications for batch processing and automation of repetitive CAD tasks.
4. Develop reusable class libraries to improve modularity and development efficiency.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support integration.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to AutoCAD and associated applications.
7. Enhance and optimize existing AutoCAD tools, including WinForms and class libraries.
8. Stay updated with industry trends and adopt new technologies in AutoCAD development.
9. Write clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in AutoLISP, .NET, ObjectARX for AutoCAD customization
• Strong programming knowledge in C++, VB.NET, or C#
• Experience in WinForm application development
• Ability to create console applications for automation
• Experience developing class libraries for reusability
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD APIs and SDKs
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of CAD design principles and engineering fundamentals

Education & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Developer or in a similar role
• Relevant certifications in AutoCAD customization/programming are an added advantage
