GCP Devops Professional

We are seeking a GCP DevOps Professional with proven experience with CI / CD tools like Red Hat Ansible, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins . The ideal candidate must have Groovy scripting knowledge , with Python, Perl, or Ruby scripting knowledge being a plus. You should possess practical familiarity with public cloud resources and services, specifically Google Cloud (GCP) , and proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes . Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across test and production environments is essential, along with the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• CI / CD Pipeline Development : Design, implement, and maintain robust CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Red Hat Ansible .
• Containerization & Orchestration : Work extensively with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and orchestrating applications.
• Cloud Platform Management : Leverage practical familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP) services and resources for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Scripting & Automation : Develop automation scripts using Groovy (mandatory) and potentially Python, Perl, or Ruby for various DevOps tasks.
• Monitoring & Alerting : Implement and manage monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus and have familiarity with IT monitoring tools like Datadog .
• Collaboration & Project Management : Utilize Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project management, issue tracking, and documentation.
• Troubleshooting & Support : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across test and production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Independent Work : Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, applying real-time experience to solve challenges.
• Infrastructure as Code (Good to Have) : Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives, with Terraform knowledge being a plus.
