Production Support Engineer - Trading Systems

What You Will Do :

- Monitor and support real-time trading, data, and execution systems used by us Internally

- Troubleshoot issues across networking, messaging, databases, and application layers.

- Perform production operations including deployments, upgrades, and environment checks.

- Handle incident response, coordinate with engineering teams, and restore system health during outages.

- Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and flow issues to maintain uptime and improve reliability.

- Work closely with traders, quants, dev teams and client support groups across the US and India.

- Prepare operational runbooks, documentation, and daily system reports.

- Participate in on-call rotation aligned with market hours.

- Work with and lead a team of production support engineers in the firm.

- Improve operational efficiency by suggesting improvements to existing processes

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years experience in production support, application support.

- Experience in fintech, trading systems, market-data platforms, or low-latencyenvironments is a plus

- Good expertise in Python is a must.

- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix command-line environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during trading hours.

- Attention to detail and keen observational skills

- Working Hours : US timezone 8pm to 5am or 7pm to 4Am depending on daylight
