This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain robust system integrations and APIs that enable seamless data flow across enterprise applications. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The position involves developing and testing APIs, fine-tuning existing integrations, and ensuring adherence to best practices in API-led connectivity and middleware architecture. You will actively participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and DevOps practices, while continuously exploring emerging technologies to improve system performance and reliability. This is a dynamic and collaborative role with significant impact on the efficiency and scalability of business operations.

Accountabilities

  • Design and develop systems and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Build high-quality APIs and integration solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop unit tests and ensure thorough code coverage to validate business logic.
  • Create high-level design documents and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support and optimize existing integration architecture for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, DevOps processes, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging integration technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • MuleSoft 4 Developer Certification.
  • 7+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including middleware and integration technologies.
  • 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
  • Proficiency in programming / scripting languages such as Java or Python.
  • Experience with messaging platforms (JMS, Amazon SQS, Azure ServiceBus, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, publish-subscribe patterns, batch processing, and EIP design patterns.
  • Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI / CD pipelines (GitLab or Azure DevOps), and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft connectors, security protocols (SSL, SAML, OAuth2), and API gateway management.
  • Experience with CloudHub 2.0, RTF, and exception handling / logging frameworks.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with Anypoint FlexGateway and Anypoint Experience Hub.
  • Ability to work effectively on geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong technical engagement with vendors and external engineering teams.
