Job Requirements
Engine Assembly is responsible for achieving daily vehicle production targets in alignment with the PPC (Production Planning & Control) schedule. The role ensures adherence to quality, safety, and cost standards while coordinating with the Outbound Logistics team for timely delivery.
Work Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision:
- Directly supervise and coordinate daily activities of assembly technicians and operators on the engine assembly line.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and adjust work schedules to meet production goals.
- Production Monitoring:
- Monitor the assembly process to ensure operations conform to defined standards such as cycle times and build sequences.
- Analyze production schedules and work orders to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Issue Resolution:
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, defects, or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Process Improvement:
- Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and overall efficiency.
- Resource Management:
- Requisition necessary materials, supplies, and equipment parts to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.
- Good communication and team coordination abilities.
