Responsibilities :
Oversee daily workflow of the department Apprenticeship Trainees Management, Contract Labor Management, NEEM Trainees Management
IR Activities & Statutory Compliance
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to
staffing, recruiting, and retention.
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent
management.
Manpower assessment, planning & budgeting
Develops, implements, and maintains departmental budget.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human
resources, talent management, and employment laws.
Oversee annual Salary reviews & increments via Performance Management System Conduct
Performance Appraisals, 360 Reviews & oversee Career Development Programs
Annual review of Grades, job descriptions, promotion, etc.
Oversee the annual Member satisfaction survey
Oversee updates of the workforce Competency Matrix
Implement recommendations from exit interviews analysis
Deliverables
Legal compliance & settlement of the pending cases / disputes in the best interest of the company :
Nil prosecution or levy of penalty / late fee or notices form statutory bodies. Reduction in pending
disputes.
Monitor & control the HR budget monthly.
Review HR score card along with HR team on monthly basis
Talent Planning & Sourcing : Timely recruitment within 30 days from date of resignation.
Implement necessary actions from the analysis of the Member satisfaction survey
Review the exit interview report and make corrective actions
Oversee Rewards & Recognition programs
Ensure compliance with statutory requirement
Review the compliance report every month
Ensure there is no adverse action against company regarding compliance
Involvement in IR Strategy & issues to ensure industrial peace & zero production loss Coordination with various committees like safety committee, canteen committee, suggestion
committee etc. for effective functioning
Control over absenteeism and ensure zero production loss. To bring down absenteeism through
personal counseling, family counseling, and disciplinary actions.
Provide adequate manpower to ensure zero production loss.
Liaison with Statutory bodies on statutory clearance and inspection of records (Labor law, Pollution
control Board, Electricity Board, and Local Panchayat & Revenue department.)
Time office, Security & Canteen administration
Ensure effective running of ETP as per pollution control board norms.
Conduct medical checkups to maintain & monitor health records of employees as per the law
Co-ordinating, maintaining & obtaining permission from Board of Apprenticeship Training for
engaging Technician & Graduate Trainees
Stipend sheet Verification, Preparing the Termination order Proforma & facilitating certificate for
apprentices
Ensure Contract Labor as per requirement and ensure all the formalities are adhered to
Co-Ordinate for standards (ISO 9001, AS9100C, ISO14001 and 6S etc.) audit and ensure process
adherence
Monitoring PF withdrawal forms submissions & ESI
Coordinate with admin team for all KSPCB matters
Timely submission of all statutory compliances
Requirements
Education & Experience required :
Qualification : Postgraduate in Human Resource Management / MSW / MBA in HR
Experience : 15 – 20 years’ experience in the Manufacturing industry
