Job description

Job Title : Remote Data Science Engineer.

Location : Remote / Hybrid (Preferred regions : EMEA, USA, UK, Japan).

Experience : 27 years.

Type : Full-time / Contract.

Your Role :

As a Data Science Engineer youll work on transforming raw data into actionable insights using statistical modeling, machine learning, and data storytelling.

Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build predictive systems, automate decision-making, and guide product or business strategies through data.

Tech Skills We Value :

  • Strong in Python and key libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
  • Experience with SQL and working with structured / unstructured databases.
  • Ability to build and evaluate predictive models using ML algorithms.
  • Experience in data wrangling, feature engineering, and model tuning.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jupyter Notebooks, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Bonus : Exposure to Big Data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) or NLP / LLMs.
  • Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

What Were Looking For :

  • Experience in data science, analytics, or applied statistics.
  • Strong understanding of probability, linear algebra, and data modeling.
  • Ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in product-led or data-first companies preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken & written); Polish is a plus but not required.
  • A GitHub, portfolio, or case study demonstrating your work is appreciated.
