Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data pipelines and data warehouse infrastructure on AWS. Your expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing principles, and proficiency in Python and Spark will be instrumental in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Build and optimize our data warehouse architecture on AWS, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement data models that support business requirements and analytical needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and Spark for data processing and automation.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, cloud computing (AWS), and big data processing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers on the team.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of data engineering projects.
