About the Role :
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our technology team and streamline the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software systems. You will work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to implement CI / CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, monitor applications, and ensure high availability and scalability of our platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices, with a passion for improving system reliability and deployment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI / CD pipelines for development, testing, and deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, or CircleCI.
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms, ensuring cost efficiency, scalability, and security.
- Deploy and manage Docker containers and orchestrate services using Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or GKE.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, manage access controls, and enforce compliance standards.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth releases, troubleshoot production issues, and improve deployment processes.
- Identify bottlenecks in infrastructure and deployment processes and implement solutions to improve performance.
- Design and implement backup, recovery, and failover strategies for critical systems.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3 to 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or System Administration.Strong experience with cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or GCP.Expertise in CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, CircleCI, or Travis CI.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration systems.Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices in cloud environments.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, Datadog).(ref : hirist.tech)
