Senior Full Stack Developer - Shopify / Next.js

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full-Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience building and scaling Shopify applications and custom storefronts.

In this role, youll take ownership of the full development lifecycle from designing scalable architectures to implementing high-performance Shopify apps and storefronts.

Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, secure, and optimized e-commerce experiences that support our growing Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify apps (public and private) with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Build and customize Shopify storefronts using Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and headless commerce approaches (Hydrogen / Oxygen, Next.js, etc.
• Architect integrations with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL), webhooks, and third-party services.
• Implement and optimize checkout extensibility and custom themes.
• Ensure apps and storefronts adhere to Shopifys performance, security, and compliance standards.
• Champion best practices in coding, testing, and CI / CD to maintain a robust and reliable codebase.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineers to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions.
• Stay ahead of Shopifys evolving ecosystem, adopting new frameworks and technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical Skills :
• 5+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Proven expertise in Shopify app development, Liquid, and custom storefront implementations.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript / JavaScript, and frameworks such as Remix, Next.js, or React.
• Solid understanding of Shopify APIs (GraphQL & REST), OAuth, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Git-based workflows.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, unit / integration testing, and debugging to Have :
• Hands-on experience with Hydrogen / Oxygen or an interest in adopting them.
• Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Vercel) and CI / CD pipelines.
• Published Shopify apps or active contributions to the Shopify developer community.
