We are looking for a highly skilled Database Migration Engineer to lead the transformation of large-scale SQL environments. This role involves splitting monolithic databases, managing release pipelines, and overseeing data migration—including moving data from SQL Server to MongoDB .
Key Responsibilities :
- Split a large MS SQL database into multiple smaller databases while maintaining data integrity
- Develop and manage SQL scripting and versioning processes for releases
- Migrate data from East DB to West DB and decommission the old instance
- Lead SQL-to-MongoDB migration efforts in collaboration with development teams
- Optimize performance, scalability, and security of database systems
