We're looking for Experienced Professionals for the role of Powertrain Software Integration Engineer!
Role - Advanced Powertrain Software Integration Engineer
Required Technical Skill Set - PHEV / MHEV, SIL, HIL, Lab Car, powertrain dyno cells, and vehicles
Desired Experience Range - 6-12 Years
Location of Requirement - PAN India
Desired Competencies -
Must-Have
- A degree in either Electrical , Electronics, Automotive , Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a strong understanding of software and controls usage and deployment in automotive electric / hybrid powertrain applications.
- Significant knowledge & practical experience of using powertrain calibrations exclusively like developing desktop calibrations
- Project management, Leadership and planning skills are essential, along with good teamwork and excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Strategic thinking is also essential.
- Understand the benchmarking reports from the market for the powertrain systems and controls
Good-to-Have
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineeringExperience : Over 5 years of proven experience in powertrain software / controls for Battery Electric / Hybrid automotive vehicle applications using tools such as 1) MATLAB / Simulink or 2) Inca / MDA / AVL ConcertoStrong influencing skills to drive solutions and manage relationshipsExpectations from the Role
Managing the development, building and testing of software / calibrations in early stage of the powertrain development and integrate them to virtual / proto environment that would help in sizing the powertrains.Ensure seamless interaction between different components of the vehicle's electrical and electronic architecture within the powertrain for electrification and hybrids (PHEV / MHEV)Mechanical integration of powertrain hardware with other vehicle systems, addressing power supply and mechanical interface considerations.Work closely with other teams, including software, electrical, and vehicle integration, to define future requirements that the systems operate in.Conduct customer clinics and manage testing across multiple environments (SIL, HIL, Lab Car, powertrain dyno cells, and vehicles) to evaluate performanceCompile and investigate Software and calibration issues, using data to drive resolutions and overcome stakeholder inertia.
