Software Development Engineer II - Java / Spring Boot

Job description3+ years of experience as a backend developer working with Java. Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST API development. Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and / or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis). Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). Solid understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker), and CI / CD pipelines. Familiar with best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities. Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools. Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Exposure to DevOps tools and practices. Experience in the fintech or banking domain.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop backend applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with internal and third-party services.
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and access data efficiently.
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a scalable microservices architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
