About Company

The Retail Jeweller India is a Mumbai-based media company serving the gems and jewellery industry for 20 years. We publish The Retail Jeweller magazine and Market Tabloid (bi-monthly), reaching readers across 603 cities and towns, and organise the annual Retail Jeweller India Awards.

Role : Journalist - Content Writer

Location : Mumbai Kurla (Phoenix)

Type : Full-Time, Onsite, 5 days / week
Experience : 1–9 years

We seek a versatile business journalist or content writer (0.5–9 years experience) with experience in media or B2B content. You will produce timely, accurate journalism and engaging features focused on the jewellery retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

Research and write clear, well-structured features and news stories on jewellery retail trends and business developments.

Interview industry leaders and translate insights into compelling copy.

Write sharp headlines, captions, and summaries that match our editorial voice.

Contribute to the Retail DIVE Weekly newsletter with relevant, audience-first content.

Coordinate with editors, designers, and stakeholders to meet deadlines and cover industry events when required.

What Were Looking For

Education & Experience : Degree in Journalism or related field; 1+ year of hands-on writing / editing experience preferred.

Skills : Excellent writing and editing in English, strong storytelling and analytical skills, familiarity with CMS and basic multimedia tools.

Attributes : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a newsroom-style environment.
