Social Media Strategist
We are seeking a Social Media Strategist who will shape and elevate the clients brand presence across social platforms through strategic, data-informed planning.
This role extends beyond content creation it's about understanding the audience, creative storytelling, and optimizing performance across social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities -
- Develop comprehensive social-first strategies aligned with client goalsbrand awareness, engagement, conversions, or multi-platform storytelling.
- Plan and schedule high-impact content across platforms, working with the different in-house teams.
- Partner with creative, account, and media teams to ensure messaging coherence and campaign integration.
- Monitor and analyze metrics, engagement, ROI, conversions, and create insightful reports with actionable recommendations.
- Identify and coordinate with influencers, manage outreach and contracts, and amplify campaigns through partnerships.
- Plan, execute, and optimize social campaigns with clear budgets, targeting, and performance tracking.
- Stay current with platform changes, digital trends, and competitor activity to keep strategies fresh and competitive.
- Respond to follower comments and messages, fostering a positive brand voice and engagement.
- Educate clients or internal teams on emerging social media strategies and best practices.
Required -
3-6 years of experience in social media strategy, ideally within ad agencies, digital marketing, or related environments.Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant fieldor equivalent portfolio experience.Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, plus analytics platforms (GA, native insights).Ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.Strong knowledge of social media platforms Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, X, and emerging networks.Excellent written / verbal communication, creativity, adaptability, time management, and collaboration.(ref : iimjobs.com)
