Role Description

An opportunity to join a company of world class engineers in supporting leading edge power components and solutions. The Field Applications Engineer will work closely with customers to secure new business and work with the channel partners to provide designs that meet customer criteria. The person will be responsible for providing technical support, assisting with product integration, troubleshooting, and working closely with the sales team to meet customer needs and drive product adoption. This role also includes in providing training to customers and channel partners on Vicor products. The candidate will be r esponsible for building an opportunity pipeline and driving design ins and wins leading to new revenue for Vicor.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in power electronics design and / or applications.

Strong skills in Analog and Electronics.

Troubleshooting skill and experience with complex power systems.

Willingness to travel and engage with customers on their designs.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
