Senior Ruby Backend Developer

REMOTE - Noida India

Note : There will be over lap with USA PST timezone (3-4 hrs)

Strong proficiency in Ruby (language fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming)

Deep understanding of OOP, mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas

Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, and performance profiling

experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails,Grape ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, and lifecycle callbacks

Comfortable deploying and optimizing Passenger, Thin

Deeper understanding of Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling

PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord

Experience optimizing N+1 queries, indexes, and query plans

Proficient with Bundler, Rake, Rubygems

Gem building and custom gem publishing

Knowledge of RVM, rbenv, chruby
