SRE Engineer

Job Description

SRE Engineer contributes to the strategic objectives of the System Operations Division by providing RingCentral application services and support. Employees in this position perform day-to-day tasks for running a hybrid cloud-based environment which consists of Linux / Windows based web-application services, Authentication / DNS / NTP infrastructure, Public Cloud infrastructure, etc. SRE Engineers also investigate problems with applications and research cloud-based RingCentral solutions. SRE Engineers will perform statistical analysis of

data and participate in deployment procedures.

Responsibilities

• . Provide administration, update and support unique components of our platform based on Linux and Windows OS, oriented on Web-applications and RingCentral`s custom developed platform.
• . Participate in projects intended to improve infrastructure, integration of new systems and software
• . Perform pre-production tests in LAB and Staging environments
• . Deploy, configure, and maintain RingCentral application services
• . Monitor, Plan and Execute software capacity expansions
• . Respond to alerts and escalations from monitoring systems
• . Solves any problems that arise in services
