Job Description Program Manager (CSR / Workforce Development Initiatives)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and execute large-scale skilling and workforce development initiatives under CSR and philanthropic investments. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and monitoring sustainable programs that enable marginalized communities-especially women, youth, and persons with disabilities-to build skills in new and emerging technologies such as Cloud, AI, Cybersecurity, Sustainability, and Productivity Tools.
The Program Manager will also work closely with government bodies, industry partners, NGOs, and nonprofit organizations to ensure impactful program outcomes and compliance with CSR frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management & Execution
Lead end-to-end program lifecycle including design, execution, and monitoring of skilling initiatives.
Curate future skills / Industry 4.0 learning programs with a focus on marginalized groups.
Drive sustainable program models with measurable social impact.
Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Manage collaborations with NGOs, NFPs, government bodies (MSDE, MOLE, AICTE, etc.), and industry associations.
Foster strong partnerships to drive participation and advocacy.
Support leadership with industry roundtables and policy alignment initiatives.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
(Co)design and integrate M&E frameworks into programs for effective impact assessment.
Conduct monitoring & evaluation, capacity building for NGOs, and Social Return on Investment (SROI) studies using Theory of Change.
Prepare reports, disclosures, and documentation for internal / external stakeholders and CSR councils.
Ensure transparency, traceability, and accountability of fund utilization and outcomes.
Capacity Building & Knowledge Sharing
Equip NGOs / NFPs with processes and frameworks for M&E, impact assessment, KPI setting, and SROI.
Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen nonprofit capacities for impactful program delivery.
Ideal Candidate Background
Experience : 6 8 years in workforce development, CSR, or social development sector, preferably in corporate or large program settings.
Education : Master's in Social Work / Rural Development / Arts with relevant specialization.
Domain Expertise :
Proven experience in strategy development and execution of large-scale skilling projects (especially IT-ITES sector).
Strong understanding of Government of India's skilling ecosystem (MSDE, MOLE, AICTE, etc.).
Hands-on experience in M&E framework creation and field-level deployment.
Skills :
Strong stakeholder and partnership management.
Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
Passion for social impact, nonprofit capacity building, and CSR compliance.
