Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Virtualization Engineer with extensive experience in virtualization technologies, specifically in migrating environments from VMware to Hyper-V . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level virtual infrastructure, ensuring seamless migration, high availability, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end VMware to Hyper-V migration projects .

Design, implement, and maintain virtualized environments with high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtual infrastructure performance.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration of virtual workloads.

Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and automation scripts for virtualization tasks.

Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards in virtual environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Minimum 8+ years of experience in virtualization technologies.

Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere , vCenter , ESXi , and Hyper-V .

Expertise in migration strategies from VMware to Hyper-V.

Solid knowledge of storage, networking, and backup / recovery in virtual environments.

Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for virtualization management.

Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work.

Familiarity with cloud integration (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
