Education & Outreach Officer Maharashtra State Office

We invite applications for the position of Education & Outreach Officer in our Mumbai office.

The Education & Outreach Officer will play a key role in implementing WWF-Indias environmental education and corporate engagement programmes in Maharashtra.

The role involves strengthening school and citizen outreach, managing programme delivery, and supporting corporate volunteering and awareness initiatives.

Key Conceptualizing and executing Corporate Connect initiatives.

• Develop an annual corporate engagement calendar.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate CSR / HR teams.
• Manage event logistics, participant communication, and feedback.
• Support outreach of ongoing programmes : Vasundhara Mitra, Mangrove Mitra, Nature Connect, People for Planet.
• Liaise with schools, educators, volunteers, and NGOs.
• Coordinate workshops, eco-trails, webinars, and awareness events.
• Monitor programme progress and maintain documentation.
• Support training and orientation for educators, master trainers, and volunteers.
• Maintain databases for corporates, schools and volunteers.
• Track programme milestones, outputs, and outcomes.
• Document case studies, feedback, and best & Masters degree preferably in Environmental Studies, Education, Social Work, Sustainability, or related field.
• Applicants from Business / Communications will also be considered.
• 3 years experience in programme coordination / business development / education / outreach, or CSR / community engagement.

Key Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Expected Increased reach and impact of Environment Education and Corporate Connect programmes.
