Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Kotlin Android Developer located in Bengaluru South. The Kotlin Android Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, and ensuring the quality and performance of applications. Daily tasks will include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and resolving issues, and working closely with the design and product teams to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Port the existing Xamarin-based Warehouse App to Kotlin using Jetpack Compose

Integrate RESTful APIs built on EFU backend services

Implement Room for data persistence and manage async operations with Coroutines and Flow

Maintain clean, testable code using MVVM and repository patterns

Set up dependency injection with Dagger / Hilt

Manage Play Store deployments, app signing, and versioning

Work with CI / CD pipelines for automated builds and testing

Ensure high code quality with unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth release cycles

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK

Experience with Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, Room, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger / Hilt

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON parsing

Familiarity with Play Store deployment and build automation

CI / CD pipeline experience, Git, and code review practices

Exposure to Firebase / Google Analytics integration

Testing experience with JUnit and Espresso
