Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Piping Stress Engineer with over 6 years of relevant industry experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CAESAR II , AutoPIPE , and thorough knowledge of ASME B31.3 code. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and exciting industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects at our Bangalore location.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR II and / or AutoPIPE for various systems in accordance with applicable codes (ASME B31.3, B31.1, etc.).
- Evaluate piping layouts and provide recommendations for flexibility, support design, and material selection.
- Interface with design, layout, and structural teams to ensure piping systems are safely and efficiently designed.
- Generate stress analysis reports and technical documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
Mandatory Skills :
Piping Stress Analysis : Strong hands-on experience with CAESAR II and AutoPIPECode Knowledge : In-depth understanding of ASME B31.3 and related piping codesEngineering Design : Sound knowledge of piping materials, layouts, and stress mitigationCommunication : Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficientlyEducational Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree (BE / BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.Preferred Additional Skills (Good to Have) :
Familiarity with piping design software (e.g., SmartPlant, PDMS, E3D)Exposure to seismic, wind load, or dynamic stress analysisKnowledge of international standards (API, ANSI, ISO, etc.)
