Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QA Lead with over 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including hands-on expertise in Salesforce testing, test automation, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategy, managing end-to-end test cycles, ensuring robust test coverage, and driving quality standards for Salesforce implementations and role requires deep technical knowledge of Salesforce platforms along with proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Test Strategy & Planning :
- Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices for Salesforce projects.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with functional, business, and technical requirements.
- Ensure effective test coverage for Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, etc.), integrations, and custom solutions.
Salesforce Testing :
Lead manual and automated testing efforts for Salesforce applications.Execute functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, UI / UX validation, API testing, and UAT support.Ensure testing compliance for Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, workflows, validation rules, and third-party integrations.Automation & Tools :
Drive adoption of test automation frameworks and tools for Salesforce (e.g., Selenium, Provar, AccelQ, TestNG).Establish and maintain CI / CD integration for test automation pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket.Monitor test automation coverage and optimize regression test suites.Defect & Quality Management :
Manage the complete defect lifecycle using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.Ensure root cause analysis and proactive defect prevention measures are in place.Track QA metrics (defect density, test coverage, execution rates, etc.) to measure and improve quality outcomes.Team Leadership & Collaboration :
Mentor and lead QA engineers, ensuring skill development and adherence to QA best practices.Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and product owners to align QA processes with delivery timelines.Support business users during UAT and provide expert QA insights to stakeholders.Required Skills & Qualifications :
10+ years of progressive QA experience with at least 5+ years in Salesforce testing (manual + automation).Strong expertise in Salesforce QA frameworks, SOQL, and Salesforce object model.Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and LWC testing.Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Provar, AccelQ, or equivalent).Familiarity with CI / CD, version control systems (Git, Bitbucket), and DevOps practices.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile / Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices.Experience in leading QA teams, managing deliverables, and coordinating across multiple workstreams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills(ref : hirist.tech)
