Job description

Position : Team Leader – Sales / Counseling

Department : EdTech (Admissions / Sales)

Location : Rohini West

Experience Required : 5–10 Years (with at least 3–8 years in a leadership role)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to manage and guide our sales / counseling team in the EdTech sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving admissions, achieving sales targets, mentoring team members, and ensuring excellent student / learner engagement. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and result-oriented skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Admission Counselors / Sales Executives.
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team.
  • Monitor team performance, identify training needs, and conduct regular coaching sessions.
  • Plan and implement effective sales strategies to maximize conversions.
  • Track and report team KPIs, including leads, calls, follow-ups, and closures.
  • Ensure a smooth counseling process and high student / parent satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management to improve processes, campaigns, and conversion strategies.
  • Handle escalations and resolve queries effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new team members when required.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Education, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales / counseling (preferably EdTech), with at least 3 year in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales / admissions targets.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
