You're an experienced and collaborative engineer ready to build and enhance advanced AI-driven features and systems. At Zinnia, our software engineering team thrives on solving complex problems, iterating quickly, and delivering scalable, reliable products. You're passionate about working across AI and web technologies to deliver meaningful, high-impact solutions for users.

What You'll Do :

Continuously develop new features and enhance our AI-powered platform to improve the insurance experience
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, ML researchers, PMs, and DevOps to ship secure, scalable applications
Build and maintain robust, extensible code in Python , TypeScript , and React
Architect end-to-end solutions, ensuring scalable and efficient deployment of AI models and APIs
Design, develop, and optimize AI model inference pipelines and real-time AI systems
Integrate LLMs with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma)
Build internal tooling to support AI research and streamline ML workflows
Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for AI-based services
Work within Agile / Kanban frameworks and CI / CD pipelines
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team-wide best practices
Participate in technical discussions, architectural design, and project planning
Stay up to date with AI advancements, sharing knowledge and influencing product direction

What You'll Need :

5–10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years on AI-related projects

Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript / JavaScript

Experience designing scalable and maintainable software architectures

Familiarity with Kubernetes , Docker , and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Understanding of modern AI systems, LLMs, and inference optimization

Experience working with large datasets and integrating vector search systems

Ability to explain complex AI systems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL, BigQuery), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), and vector databases

Exposure to observability and monitoring tools for deployed AI services

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)

You'll Stand Out If You Have :

Experience with OpenAI , Azure AI toolsets , Claude , Gemini , or Mistral models

Hands-on experience with PyTorch , TensorFlow , JAX , or Hugging Face Transformers
