Job Summary :
The F&B Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service of food and beverages in the restaurant, in-room dining, or banquet events, as per the standards of the property.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating and menu choices.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
- Serve food and beverages as per standard operating procedures (SOPS).
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and resolving any complaints or issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, dining area, and service equipment.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and refilling condiments.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials and loyalty programs where applicable.
- Maintain billing and payment procedures accurately.
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
Qualifications and Skills :
Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.Minimum 0-2 years of experience in F&B service; freshers with internships may apply.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Customer-focused attitude with a pleasant personality.Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus and service styles.Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift trays and move quickly between tables and kitchen / service stations.Compensation :
