JDE Functional Consultant
Role Overview :
The JDE Functional Consultant will be responsible for leading and executing JD Edwards (JDE) ERP activities during organizational transitions such as mergers, acquisitions, and company spin-offs.
This includes end-to-end process mapping, configuration, data migration, compliance, and integration with external systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Transition Planning & Execution :
- Design and implement JDE processes for company separation, including inactivation of accounts, closure of company codes, and data extraction strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope of divestiture and ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements.
Finance Module Expertise :
Configure and support modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and multi-currency setups.Handle intercompany settlements, period-end closures, and reporting requirements.Data Migration & Integration :
Lead historical data extraction and handover to acquiring entities.Ensure seamless integration with systems like SAP, Hyperion, and EBS during transitions.Security & Compliance :
Implement SOX-compliant security using tools like All Out.Generate and review SOD, sensitive access, and firefighting ID reports.Documentation & Training :
Prepare as-is / to-be process documents, runbooks, and training materials.Conduct user training and create self-help documentation to reduce support tickets.Required Skills & Experience :
12- 15 years of experience in JD Edwards ERP with a focus on Finance and cross-functional modules.Proven experience in at least one company separation, merger, or acquisition project.Strong understanding of JDE configuration, data structures, and integration points.Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, audit readiness).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill(ref : hirist.tech)
