Location : Hyderabad

Exp : 2-8 years

Genpact is hiring network engineer who must be good for a skilled professional with strong troubleshooting and configuration skills to maintain secure, high-performance network infrastructure. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for network support

Responsibilities

  • Network Maintenance : Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
  • Issue Resolution : Respond promptly to network-related incidents, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and service disruption.
  • Configuration Management : Configure and manage network devices including Cisco routers, switches, F5 load balancers, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Security Enforcement : Implement and maintain network security policies to safeguard against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to support overall infrastructure and ensure seamless operations.
  • Upgrades & Updates : Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches to ensure systems are secure, stable, and up to date.
  • Monitoring & Reporting : Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and generate performance reports.
  • Compliance & Standards : Ensure network operations comply with organizational policies and industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team .

    • Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • Cloud Networking : Experience with cloud networking solutions and SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI.
  • Firewall Management : Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and implementing security policies.
  • Load Balancing : Proficiency in managing F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
  • Network Automation : Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting using Python.
  • Routing & Switching : Strong understanding of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Monitoring Tools : Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark for network monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Protocols & Standards : Solid grasp of networking protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Security Best Practices : Understanding of network security principles, threat mitigation, and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshooting : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex network issues.
  • Certifications : Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI DCACI or equivalent are preferred
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex network issues efficiently.
  • Teamwork : Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Adaptability : Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
  • Attention to Detail : Precision in managing configurations, documentation, and security protocols.
