Senior Technology Engineer – Network & Cloud

Location : Chennai / Bangalore

We are undergoing a major technology transformation and building next-generation network platforms to support large-scale, high-availability operations across multiple regions. We are seeking Senior Technology Engineers with deep expertise in networking, cloud connectivity, and automation to join our Technology Platforms team. If you are passionate about modern network engineering, SDN-Fabric, and scalable automated infrastructure, this role is for you.

About the Role

As a Senior Technology Engineer, you will :

Design, build, and enhance enterprise network architectures across Datacenter, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Cloud, and hybrid environments

Build and operate SDN-Fabric networks using Enterprise SONiC, Cisco technologies, and multi-cloud networks (Azure, OCI, AWS)

Drive automation and self-service adoption to onboard applications and customers to the platform

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile, DevOps, and Product Management practices

Ensure platform availability, scalability, and security across all network layers

Support both delivery and operational responsibilities in a DevOps model

What You’ll Work On

Implementing SDN-Fabric solutions and modern cloud networking

Developing automated workflows using Python, Ansible, and open-source tools

Enhancing network reliability, observability, and performance

Partnering with Architecture, Security, Platforms, and Product teams

Contributing to platform roadmaps and long-term strategy

Reducing technology stack complexity and platform total cost of ownership

What We’re Looking For

Experience

Minimum 8 years in engineering or operations; at least 3 years in similar roles

Background in enterprise-grade global networks and high-availability environments

Technical Skills

Strong expertise with Cisco networking, SONiC, and SDN-Fabric

Cloud networking experience across Azure, OCI, and AWS

Deep understanding of routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, VLAN, spanning tree, and WAN optimization

Hands-on network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools

Knowledge of telemetry protocols (syslog, SNMP, gRPC, Netflow, S-flow)

Strong awareness of security, compliance, and audit requirements

Soft Skills

Ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems

Strong communication and stakeholder management

Strategic thinking with the ability to shape technology roadmaps

Collaborative, agile, and delivery-focused mindset

Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
