Job descriptionIndustry Experience : Must have worked with US CPA clients and be familiar with their specific financial reporting and compliance requirements. Client-Facing Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage with clients and manage relationships effectively. End-to-End Accounting Knowledge : Strong understanding of all aspects of the accounting cycle, from journal entries to financial reporting. Regulatory Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting standards as they apply to US-listed companies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end accounting processes for US-based listed clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage client relationships, providing high-quality advisory and consulting services to senior client stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in financial audits, coordinating with internal and external auditors, and ensuring smooth audit processes.
- Drive process improvements in accounting practices, leveraging technology and automation tools.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for US clients, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes using QuickBook Software
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations for financial strategies and improvements to clients.
