How will you make an impact in this role?
The Global Servicing Capabilities organization leads the global standardization, development and maintenance of highly complex natured Business rules Team, supporting the Global Servicing Organization at American Express.
Searching for a Developer to join our organization, to add value to existing capabilities built on a PEGA Application handling Dispute and Fraud cases.
Job Responsibilities :
- will be responsible to build, test, implement, monitor and document the business configurable aspects of PEGA applications captured in form of user stories in Rally
- will be responsible to analyze user requests to assess feasibility and effort to meet customer needs through participating in discussions around project requirements
- Will prepare the appropriate documentation of process / system flow involved in the Business rules according to user requirements.
- Will convert project specifications into Business Rules driven logic in Pega.
- Will assist to solve / debug problems as reported from Live / Test regions , recreating steps taken by user to locate source of problems and reconfigure business rules.
- Will be responsible to provide technical assistance to users and stakeholders and oversee installation of Business Rules in Live and multiple lower environments.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field (or equivalent professional work experience)Should have work experience of 4-5 years with minimum relevant PEGA experience of 3-4 yearsPEGA CSA certification is a must, CSSA certification preferredStrong Expertise in design, development of Declarative / Decisioning configurable constructs in PEGA.Knowledge of different OOTB frameworks and architecture facilitated by Pega e.g. SmartDisputes, CRM, FCM and understanding of new features within Pega Infinity platformExpertise in the areas linked with Disputes / Complaints / Fraud case handling and processing with exposure to Chargeback / Payment processingGood grasp of various iterative methodologies : Agile, Scrum with working knowledge of relevant tools e.g. Rally / JIRA / ConfluenceExperience with MS Office Suite (Intermediate knowledge to work with Spreadsheets, excel macros) and Process flow designer / Visio / Mural / FigmaPreferred Qualifications :
Working knowledge of responsible and effective usage of different automation tools for deployment (Jenkins / CICD)and AI assistants (Microsoft Copilot / ChatGPT)Basic knowledge ofScripts debug, SOAP UI, Developer Tools, GCP to be able to debug / fix issues over cross platform intakeWorking knowledge of SQL to support Production defects analysis through data warehouse or DB queryAbility to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentWe back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
