Junior Unreal Artist

Job Purpose:

A Junior Unreal Artist at Royal Enfield is responsible for delivering high quality motorcycle product visual outputs including stills and live, virtual presentation material. He or she is proficient in using industry recognized software and processes. You will be taking existing prepared models and getting them ready to be used in an unreal configurator. The creative outputs resulting from the team are used to support Industrial Design in achieving gateways, other high level design reviews, plus the motorcycle product launch and sales teams. The role is therefore multi-facing, dealing with many customers both internal in Design/CTG and the wider business (Product Strategy, Marketing, GMA and sales ). Working in a highly interactive and international environment, this includes working with teams from both India and the UK at both our Technical Centres

What you’ll do:

• Experience in working to defined processes and technical standards (pipeline)
• Strong ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced production with a proven record of meeting deadlines whilst maintaining high quality delivery.
• Following the process and standards at all times and can demonstrate as such
• To carry out any reasonable duties as identified by your line manager
• Understanding of blueprints, level streaming and lighting levels;
• Asset creation for real-time rendering;
• Knowledge of modelling, texturing, shading, lighting;
• Look development within Unreal Engine;
• Understanding of source control software, i.e., Perforce;
• Work closely with photographers, videographers, riders, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality content that captures the spirit of the brand.
• Coordinate social media campaigns with marketing initiatives, product launches, and brand events.
• Provide support with Key Projects, adapt and create assets for region-specific campaigns
• Assist with market-specific initiatives such as the development of local language content (Print ad, paid media, CRM mailers) and provide country-specific imagery through CGI edits
• Manage every piece of content that goes out on the company’s behalf on various platforms.
• Keep track of the existing content strategy performance
• An effective team player, actively develops and supports team members while expecting high performance
• Create photo real CGI stills and Animations
• Develop CGI materials to match real life references
• Create the CGI launch look and feel with the in-house teams
• Work with retouching artist to deliver final images
• Work with the internal teams to help deliver additional CGI internal content.
• To attend shoots / photograph textures and references when needed

What you'll bring:

Experience:

• At least five years experience in automotive OEM or independent studio working with OEM
• Expert in Unreal engine with proven configurator experience
• Good knowledge in Autodesk 3DS MAX, Chaos Group VRay and Adobe Photoshop

Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master's’ degree in Transportation or Industrial Design
