About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilledSenior Google Cloud Functions (GCF) App Developerto lead the design, development, and optimization of serverless applications onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance serverless architectures, along with hands-on experience integrating Cloud Functions with broader GCP services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development : Architect, develop, and deploy serverless applications usingGoogle Cloud Functions , Cloud Run, and other GCP services.System Integration : Build and maintain APIs and event-driven solutions integrating GCF with services such asPub / Sub, Cloud Storage, Firestore, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Scheduler .Performance & Scalability : Optimize serverless workloads forlow latency, cost efficiency, and high availability .Security & Compliance : ImplementIAM best practices, secret management, and secure API gateways ; ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.CI / CD & DevOps : Set up and maintain automated pipelines for serverless deployments.Monitoring & Reliability : LeverageCloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), and Error Reportingto build robust observability and alerting.Collaborateto deliverend-to-end cloud-native solutions .Required Qualifications6+ years of experience incloud-native application developmentwith at least 3 years inGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) .Strong proficiency inNode.js, Python, or Gofor writing Cloud Functions.Proven experience withevent-driven architecturesand serverless ecosystems.Solid understanding ofAPIs (REST / GraphQL), microservices, and messaging systems(e.g., Pub / Sub, Kafka).Expertise inGCP Identity & Access Management (IAM) , security policies, and secrets handling.Strong knowledge ofdatabases(Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL).About StimScienceStimScience is on a mission to translate advances in neuroscience into everyday consumer devices.
