We are seeking an experienced Database Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team.

This role involves working closely with the development and operations teams to ensure optimal database performance, scalability, and reliability. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration, particularly in Oracle Exadata.

The primary responsibilities of this position include :

• Monitoring database performance and identifying areas for improvement;
• Optimizing SQL queries and indexes using techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and query rewriting;
• Implementing data loading scripts related to Golden Gate data replication;
• Developing and maintaining efficient database designs and architectures;
• Providing technical guidance to developers and other stakeholders on database-related matters.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of database concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and database security. You should also be proficient in tools such as TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.

In addition to technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
