Role : Senior Full Stack Developer - Java with React

Type : Permanent (No third-party payroll)

Location : PAN India

Qualifications :

You are eager to learn new technologies and languages. You enjoy an agile, fast paced and highly technical environment. You are comfortable with every aspect of the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post release support. You can collaborate within and across multidiscipline teams, understand the big picture, and design and implement software with automated unit tests. You are able to work both independently and we are looking for candidates who have :

10 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in Java enterprise application full stack development (Java Springboot, Microservices)
3 years of experience in React JS, JavaScript, using UI frameworks
Hands-on experience with data modeling, developing schemas, such as relational databases, XML and JSON, data management and processing with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores.
Highly proficient in using SQL to generate reports from a large RDBMS, such as Oracle.
Experience with MongoDB, Elastic Search, mySQL
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon Web Services.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment leveraging an agile development framework, understanding of test automation and continuous integration.
Curious of new technology, experience of using Github Copilot, ChatGPT or other AI tools, experience of contributing to Open Source projects will also make you standup among the candidates
A Bachelor degree or equivalent in CS / EE or a discipline of Biosciences is required

Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership :

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications using Java (Spring Boot, etc.) and React.js.

Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices.

Conduct technical reviews of design, code, and test artifacts.

2. Full Stack Development :

Develop backend services / APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.

Build dynamic front-end components using React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript / TypeScript.

Integrate third-party APIs and services securely and efficiently.

3. System Design & Architecture :

Translate complex business requirements into scalable system designs and modular components.

Participate in high-level design decisions and contribute to system and infrastructure architecture.

4. Mentorship & Team Collaboration :

Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.

Collaborate closely with product managers, UX / UI designers, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders.

5. Project Delivery & Agile Practices :

Own and drive features end-to-end : from design to production deployment and support.

Contribute to Agile / Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Break down epics and user stories into technical tasks and help estimate timelines and resources.

6. Performance Optimization :

Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions on both front-end and back-end.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications under load.

7. Security & Compliance :

Implement security best practices in application code (OWASP, JWT, OAuth, etc.).

Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations as applicable.

8. DevOps & CI / CD :

Work with DevOps teams to streamline CI / CD pipelines and automate deployments.

Support monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability.

9. Testing & Quality Assurance :

Ensure unit, integration, and system test coverage for all code developed.

Contribute to and enforce a culture of high-quality software through automated testing.

10. Continuous Learning & Innovation :

Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Propose and prototype innovative solutions to technical challenges.
