About the Role :

The Senior Systems Architect is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-class business intelligence and system architecture solutions. This role ensures that platforms and systems meet strategic and operational needs, while aligning with enterprise technology standards and innovation goals. Working closely with development teams, principal architects, and leadership, the Sr Architect shapes scalable solutions, creates architectural guardrails, and mentors other team members. This individual is a key contributor in driving transformation, modernization, and execution of the organization’s enterprise data and systems strategy.

What You’ll Do :

  • Design, develop, and present system architecture and technical solution documents for BI and enterprise projects
  • Build high-level solution designs (HLSDs) and contribute to capital assessment reviews
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and align technical delivery
  • Provide architectural guidance during the RFI / RFP process and serve as a subject matter expert across domains
  • Lead the development of architecture guardrails, process frameworks, and platform strategy
  • Mentor architects and technical teams on architecture standards, delivery best practices, and enterprise systems thinking
  • Develop proofs of concept (PoCs), prototypes, diagrams, and technical documentation for new solutions
  • Assess data sources, validate design assumptions, and create test / validation scripts
  • Support visual modeling of system functionality, technical flows, and infrastructure dependencies
  • Coordinate across enterprise functions to ensure systems interoperability, scalability, and business alignment
  • Drive decision-making around enterprise-wide systems and influence executive stakeholders

What You’ll Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10-12 years of experience in system architecture, BI architecture, or enterprise data systems
  • Deep knowledge of databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) with an emphasis on Teradata
  • Strong skills in system modeling, data modeling, SQL, and enterprise information architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to mentor peers, lead teams, and present technical strategies to both technical and business audiences
  • Proficiency in architectural frameworks and diagramming standards
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience in large organizations

    • Must Have Skills :

  • Cloud Architecture : Experience designing and implementing solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a strong understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficiency in Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure and platform provisioning.
  • Event Streaming & Messaging : Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for building real-time, event-driven architectures.
  • Relational Databases : Solid understanding and practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases.
  • NoSQL Databases : Experience with DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Cassandra for handling unstructured and semi-structured data.
  • CI / CD : Proficiency in GitLab CI for building robust and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Strong expertise in Core Cloud Networking including VPC / VNet design, private endpoints, transit gateways, load balancing, and DNS.
  • Proven experience with Secrets Management tools such as HashiCorp Vault and cloud-native solutions like AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, and GCP KMS.
  • Architect-level knowledge of Data & Messaging Backbone, with a focus on implementing caching solutions using Redis.

    • Nice To Have :

  • Experience with CRM, data pipelines, and system orchestration
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and hybrid architecture
  • Exposure to Agile and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
  • Understanding of service delivery landscapes and enterprise tooling
