The candidate will support market monitoring, analysis, and strategic planning activities focusing on Maximus core businesses and adjacent markets in its key operating industries such as government services (US federal, US state and local, and overseas), healthcare, BPO, and other emerging technology areas. The analyst will also support strategic diligence in potential acquisitions or venture investments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including market reports, news articles, and financial statements.
- Maintain and update databases of market and competitive intelligence information.
- Maintain an overall list of industry peers by business and company profiles for strategic peers
- Prepare and present regular reports on market conditions and competitive landscape.
- Assist in the development of ad-hoc strategic recommendations and the overall strategic plan based on market and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Strategic Planning, Growth, and marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate and work with the Corporate Development, Strategic Planning, and IRAD teams on various strategic initiatives / ad-hoc projects
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experienceStrong analytical and research skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Familiarity with market research tools, CRMs, and SharePoint is a plus.Skills Required
