Job description1+ years of proven experience in a similar business intelligence, data analyst, or data engineering role, preferably within a startup or a small business. Demonstrable expertise with at least two of the following : Tableau, Power BI, Apache Superset, or Looker. Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying. Experience with cloud data platforms like BigQuery or Azure SQL. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to new tasks. Online Round : Screening and technical fundamentals assessment. Offline Round : A hands-on problem-solving task to demonstrate data visualization and SQL skills. Offline Final Connect : Technical & HR Discussion at Electronic City / Kudlu Gate / HSR. Directly contribute to the technical growth and success of a young, ambitious company. Gain exposure to a wide range of business functions and technologies, from finance to HR. Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and impactful data solutions. You will work directly with the founder and clients to transform raw data into actionable insights, utilizing a diverse set of modern BI tools. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and is eager to take on diverse responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using a variety of BI platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker .
- Implement and manage open-source BI solutions like Apache Superset to provide flexible and cost-effective analytics capabilities.
- Connect to, extract, and transform data from various sources such as BigQuery, Azure SQL, and other databases to support reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and define data visualization requirements, ensuring solutions directly address business needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting and analysis functions.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data trends to help clients optimize their business operations.
