Role Description

Job Title : Commissioning Service Engineer – Automation & Robotics

Location : Anywhere in India (Pan-India Travel Required)

Experience : Fresh graduate OR up to 3 / 5 years relevant experience

Job Purpose

To commission and service advanced laboratory automation systems across India and abroad, combining electronics, instrumentation, and PLC programming skills with a passion for travel, learning, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and service Robolab automation, Auto Sample Transport Systems, and robotic systems .

Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens knowledge is a strong advantage) .

Perform instrumentation and electrical system checks , loop testing, and interlock verification.

Conduct cold tests, hot tests, and performance trials.

Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure minimal downtime during service calls.

Provide training to customer engineers on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Prepare commissioning / service documentation and reports.

Collaborate with Indian and German engineering teams for technical support.

Provide on-site and remote technical support during and after commissioning

Effective communication and teamwork ability

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Follow site safety and HSE standards at all times

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field.

Freshers with strong academic background OR up to 3 / 5 years’ field / service experience.

Mandatory : Knowledge of PLC programming & troubleshooting (Siemens or similar).

Added Advantage : Experience with AutoCAD for reviewing / modifying mechanical & electrical drawings.

Willingness to travel extensively across India & Abroad (50-60% travel, including remote industrial sites).

Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and clear communication.
