Job Summary :
The Tender Executive will assist in managing the end-to-end tendering and bidding process for solar EPC and government projects at Sunora Solar. This role involves identifying relevant tenders, preparing documentation, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely submission of bids. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with government e-tendering portals and solar industry documentation requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
Tender Search & Identification :
- Monitor government portals (GEM, CPPP, DISCOMs, etc.) and tender notifications for new opportunities in the solar sector.
- Maintain a record of all active, upcoming, and closed tenders with submission timelines and requirements.
Tender Preparation & Documentation :
Assist in preparing and compiling technical and commercial bid documents as per tender specifications.Coordinate with the engineering, procurement, finance, and legal teams for collecting necessary inputs and approvals.Prepare supporting documents such as company credentials, project references, BOQ, and compliance checklists.Ensure proper formatting, accuracy, and completeness of all tender submissions.Submission & Coordination :
Upload and submit tenders on online portals and handle physical submissions when required.Track tender submission status and ensure all pre-bid and post-bid clarifications are handled promptly.Follow up with clients, consultants, or authorities regarding tender outcomes and results.Administrative & Reporting Support :
Maintain organized records of all tenders, bids, correspondences, and related communications.Prepare MIS reports summarizing tender activities, submission dates, and results.Assist in vendor registrations and documentation updates as per government and client requirements.Team Support :
Support the Tender Manager and EPC Sales team in preparing bid strategies and presentations.Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotations and required documents.Assist in preparing price comparisons, costing sheets, and proposal summaries.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in tendering, documentation, or sales coordination (preferably in the solar / EPC industry).Knowledge of e-tendering processes, government procurement systems, and bid documentation.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and online tender submission platforms.Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.Key Skills :
