Job descriptionMaster's or PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field. At least 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree or 1 year of relevant experience with a PhD. Demonstrated proficiency in statistical methods and applications in clinical research, strong programming skills in SAS and / or R, and expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
Role Overview :
The Senior Biostatistician is responsible for providing expert statistical guidance and leadership to clinical research studies. This involves liaising with clinical investigators to determine study design and contributing to protocol development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Author statistical analysis plans, perform complex statistical analyses, make statistical inferences, and present reports summarizing findings.
- Manage statistical activities for clinical studies, provide expert consultation on statistical methodology, and solve complex statistical problems.
- Supervise a team of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers, directing their work on clinical research studies.
