Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and own the brand’s copy strategy by establishing and evolving tone of voice, messaging frameworks and content principles across all touchpoints.Write and script performance-driven copy : video ad scripts (short-form & long-form), ad headlines, captions, CTAs that hook and convert.Create copy for retention & CRM : emails, SMS / WhatsApp flows, newsletters, lifecycle communication that nurtures, retains and re-engages customers.Write and optimize copy for websites, marketplaces and product pages : landing pages, SEO-driven blog content, marketplace listings (Amazon / Flipkart) ensuring clarity, discoverability and conversion.Produce content for owned & social platforms : blog posts, guides, social captions, thought-leadership pieces adapting tone and format for each channel while staying on brand.Collaborate deeply with cross-functional teams (design, video, motion graphics, performance marketing, SEO) to ensure copy, visuals, format and platform are aligned and optimal.Monitor and apply learnings : conduct competitor analysis, track content / ad performance, extract insights and iterate on copy to improve metrics (engagement, CTR, conversion, retention).Manage multiple content streams : maintain editorial calendars, ensure workflow efficiency, meet deadlines and deliver consistently high-quality copy.Stay ahead of storytelling formats : motion graphics scripts, CGI-based content, emerging social formats. Propose and execute new ways of narrating the brand story.Qualifications & Skills Required :
3-4+ years of professional copywriting experience , ideally across brand, performance and digital content.Strong track record of writing across formats : ad scripts, web / SEO content, social media copy, long-form & short form content etc.Deep understanding of what makes copy work across channels and platforms. What hooks, what retains, what converts.Experience in performance marketing : comfortable writing for conversion, understanding metrics and utilizing data to refine copy.Excellent grasp of SEO best practices : writing content that ranks, drives traffic, and still reads naturally.Strong collaboration skills : able to work with creatives, editors, video / motion teams, performance marketers and product teams.High-quality writing : superior grammar, tone, clarity and brand-voice adaptability.Comfortable scripting videos and writing with in-house production in mind;ability to write for on-camera presence and motion / CGI formats.
Proactive and strategic : you don’t wait for instructions, you bring ideas, analyze competitors, propose new formats and push boundaries.Immediate joiners or the candidates serving their notice period are preferred.
